I just got this email from Sunrise TV show & thought i'd share. Hopefully its nothing :fingerscrossed:
Well it seems we might be in for more weather problems.
A fierce storm is tipped to hit the NSW coast sometime tonight. The State Emergency Service has been placed on standby from Nowra to the mid-north coast. From what we can tell, there is the potential for some very, very strong winds. The bureau says they could even reach a hundred kilometres an hour. And then of course, you have the very high seas.
So best to stay inside tonight!
Hope you don't mind the extra newsletter, but I thought we should tell you that we'll be on air from 5am tomorrow to ensure you have the best information. We have reporters from Wollongong to the Hunter Valley, making sure you don't miss a thing.
Stay safe tonight.
Cheers,
Monique

I hope poor hubby will be ok.
I just phoned him, he is still at work so won't be home for a long time. Mum has gone to bed so won't be picking him up so the poor spunky boy has to walk in the rain! I have towels waiting for him and the heater is on.
Hope he doesn't get blown away:(

Kris, Chris said he will go get him. What station, what time?
He is getting dropped off on the highway near our house. It's ok really, I will prob run down the end of the street and pick him up... that makes me a bad mum so beit! I'm not having my hubby blown away! He has lost a lot of weight, the wind would easily pick him up and carry him along like Mary Poppins on a Sunday!
But thanks to you and Chriso for the offer. I would never put him at risk to come out in a terrible storm for us!:hugs:

He seriously does not mind Kris, he said he doesnt want Glen out there in the storm.
it's ok hun really! I will get him from the bottom of the street he will only have to walk like 2 mins in the rain. If he were to pass up the lift tp the high way he would have to walk to east hills stn from his work, now taht's a bout a 20 min walk possibly more, and he would be drenched! Then sit on the train.
It's fine babe really.
He will be fine. His mobile just died too, so he now has no phone!

So how did we all go? Hope everyone is safe.
We had lots of wind & rain last night, kept me awake from 1.10 to after 3am. I'm exhausted. But thankfully everything is ok here. Seems to have settled right down now.
All is ok here. The sun is shining and all! There are still some strong winds where we are though.
I do hope no one was injured and everyone's homes are ok.:hugs:
