Sophie and Jordan Enter the world

ok *taskes deep breath*.....

i found out a week before that i was going to be booked in for an induction on thursday the 14th of June. I was to excited to be nervous.

On Thursday we got to the hospital at 8am, by 9am i was in the labouring room and hooked up to the monitiors. At 10.30am i had my waters broken, which was very ouchies. 11.30am i had that drip put in the increase contractions and had my epidural put in.

Waiting..Waiting...Waiting...

By 5pm i was 9cm dilated, it didnt take me long to get to 10cm, when i was 10cm i 2was told i couldnt start pushing for half an hour as the doctors were up doing an emergency c-section.

Pushing...Pushing..Pushing

And out pops Sophies head, i then had to have a cut, she came out very easily after that and was put on my chest, i was crying my eyes out. She got taken over to get checked out

but the hard work wasnt over

AS soon as she got taken away, i had to start pushing so Jordan would move down. When i was pushing my waters broke and squirted one of the midwifes in the face lol .HE was starting to get disrtressed so they suctioned him out and then he was placed on my belly also.

I was so happy when i found out they didnt need special care:smiliedance:

Sophie born at 7.05pm weighing at 5lbs 2oz
Jordan born at 7.37pm weighing at 6lbs 2oz

Both babies are doing great and starting to put on weight, Sophie is a very calm baby and Jordan is always a hungry baby
