i think we all tend to have our minds made up about what we'll be using on our babies...nappy wise, feeding wise, and how we'd like to give birth.

so i'll put up a poll with multiple choices on all these things.

Need to find out the info on MCN's and get the $$ for them before I decide - DF is going to be a SAHD this time so it would be funny to do cloth on him!!

You've seen my Q's on Breastfeeding this time...

And I will be pushing for a VBAC...

For me, it will go like this...

Cloth Nappies - DD is in MCN and #2 will be too! Much better for bubs and much better for the environment, I just can't justify using disposables when the earth is in need of our help.

Breastfeeding - I tried with DD but lack of milk put a quick stop to it, so this time i'll be trying again and hopefully my body agrees with me!

Vaginal Birth - After the emergency c-section with DD i'm going to damn well try my hardest for a VBAC!

I am going to try for the same as DS but not going to beat myself up if it doesn't happen (I hope)
Nappies - disposable
Feeding - breastfeed
Birth - vaginal

Cheers

I will be using disposables this time, i used cloth with ds2 until the twins were born but i just cannot keep up with all the nappies so i will be using sposies. I will more than likely formula feed as i haven't successfully breastfed any of my children.
I will definately be going for a vaginal birth, i had my first ds by emergency c/sect, second ds by VBAC and i had the twins vaginally so i'm hoping to go that way again:thumbsup:

I'll apologise right now in case this comes out the wrong way...

 You should be nice and stretched by now at least to give vaginal a real go!!

Nappies - disposable, though we have MCNs on hand
Feeding - had trouble with DD due to a health issue with her, so will give BFing a go - more likely to be a bottle feed BF baby though.
Vaginal all the way (does that sound wrong in some way?) - unless there are serious complications, this one will be a homebirth.

Having 4 kids i will do whatever it takes to make life a little easier:).

Disposable nappies,
May Formula Feed,
Vaginal birth.

My main concern is being a good mum rather than worrying about the small aspects of birthing.

So my attitude is if i can't handle breastfeeding then bubs will be bottlefed. You deal with it, it is important that you are coping that makse you a well balanced individual.

Cloth Nappies (the old kind you fold and use a snappy with - still stocked up from DS)
Breastfeeding (cheap, easy, and really nice containers!)
And of course a Vaginal Birth! (Hoping not to tear this time though!)

*Disposable nappies
*Breast feed, however if it doesn't work out I won't be stressing about it or feeling guilty
*Vaginal birth, # 3 should just slip out for me too! and I am not going to be a hero this time I will go the epidural if needed!

What she said

I really, really, REALLY want to breastfeed to at least 5-6 months (have with both DS's) cos I hate cleaning and sterilising bottles.

My plan at the mo is:
Nappies - disposables
Feeding - breast - i hope for 6 months
Birth - vaginal

I suppose the nappies is the only one i have total control over - have to see what nature has instore for me for the other 2

I know I will be having a c/section ...

Sposies while out/during hospital stays and MCN when at home ... was sposies full-time with others.

Breastfeeding, or at least I will try!

The older 2 couldn't due to physical reasons (DD ultra high hard palate + my flat nipples = no go! and DS severe tongue-tie not diagnosed until 18mo). I expressed until I could produce no more - approx 6 weeks each time and then onto formula. Have breast pump at the ready just in case :p

Well my plan at this moment it

Birth - Viginal (1st emergency C Section)

Nappies - Disposables when out and cloth at home. That was my plan with my first but when I was in the hospital with my first i used disposables and just stuck with them.

Feeding - I would love to breast feed but I did not have enough milk supply with my first and when on formula within a week of bub being born. Most likely go straight on to formula.

Cheers Jodie
