Hello, new here!

My name is Sarah. I am 18 years old and I’ve recently found out that i am pregnant.
I know i'm young but i am eager to learn more about pregnancy and parenting.
My partner is 18 years old as well and I suppose we're very confused at the moment but we love each other and believe we can make this work.
Any suggestions or advice would be most welcome, it would be great to hear from anyone. J

:wave: Hi Sarah and welcome to bub hub.. This is the best place to be if general tips and advice are what you are after.. Also it is just a great place for a chat too.. I was 19 when I fell preggas with my first and can totally understand how you are feeling.. He is now 11:eek: (I must be getting old LOL) and I am well and truly settled into motherhood.. The best advoce I can offer you is to follow your own instincts as they very rarely let you down when it comes to parenting.. And dont let others bully you into doing things you are not comfortable with.. Other than that just sit back and relax and enjoy the new journey you are about to begin..

I fell pregnant with our first when I was 19 and my now hubby (then fiancee) was 18 and had our 1st when I was 20 and he was 19. I am now going on to have our third I am 23

I hope you find the great support on here, I know I have! definately go check out the young mums thread.

I am 22, but was 19 when i fell preg with DS and my DF was 18...we are now having our seccond.

It can be a scary time, i'm glad that u are excited and eager to learn about pregnancy and parenting..it's a very rewarding and amazing time :D

I was 21 when I 1st fell pregnant with DD and even though I was a little older than you are now it's still confusing. I think no matter what your age is when to fall pregnant with your first it's bound to be confusing.
Just try and think positive. Parenting is a hard job I am not going to sugar coat it, but it's the most rewarding job any women can have. Take each day as it comes, if you ever feel like you can't cope or if you need anyone to talk to were all here for you
