Make or Buy - Rings

I need opinions on wether to get our engagement/wedding rings made or buy them from a jewellers? We are eloping so technically we havent gotten engaged yet so need both engagement and wedding rings. All information welcome :)

I got mine made. I found I got better quality and better value by doing so. I also got exactly what I wanted. Our wedding rings came with a lifetime warranty even :D

I guess it depends. Have you looked at all? I found the perfect ring for me at a jeweller but then had my wedding band made to match because i could not find anything that i liked.

Depends on personal taste.

We had DH's ring made because he wanted something like my Dad's which was not available commercially.

We got our rings made at a jewellers... That was the only way we could get what we wanted....:thumbsup: Really just depends on what you both want...
