stomach cramps...

I was hoping to get some advice on what's going on with me at the moment. I stopped taking the pill at the end of Dec 05 and my period arrived on 2nd of Jan 06. On the 14th, I began to get pains in my stomach, similar to period paid. I've had these "cramps" for the last 5 days now, and yesterday and today my boobs feel like they are "aching". I've never had sore boobs before, and usually I only get cramps when I get my period. Can anyone give me some advice as to what is going on? My next period isn't due until the 29th of Jan...

No, my period isn't due until 29th of Jan, that's why I thought it was strange that I am getting cramps etc now. Sometimes it feels like cramps (period pains), and other times it feels more just like a sore/unsettled stomach, with every now and then a twinge or sharp pain. Do you think this is just a side effect of coming off the pill?

You could be ovulating maybe?? I have no experience with the pill so i don't know side effects. sorry:(

Twinge/sharp pain sounds like Ovulation.

It definately sounds like Ovulation pains. If youve been on the pill you wouldnt have ovulated for awhile:)

I agree, sounds like ovulation to me too. I've always had O pains and they start a few days before and continue until after. Lots of cramps and achy feelings and sometimes sharp pains too.. ;)
