Bumgenius onesize feedback?

Just wonder if anyone has the Bumgenius onesize nappy and what experience you have with them?
I have the BBH both hemp and bamboo and find that the bamboo ones are getting a bit short now.. and DD is only 6 months! With the snap-sizing function of the bumgenius onesize this might not be a problem?

I think they are my fav's so far. However, I have only just switched to cloth and DS is 21 months old. I will be getting more for my next bub though. :)

I am new to cloth, having only just switched to fulltime cloth in the last month. When I was first experimenting, I tried these nappies: Berry Plush, bumGenius all in one, bumGenius Pocket (onesize), Monkey Doodlez (well I ordered one of these and sent it back without trying it as it was so huge!), and Haute onesize Pocket nappies. Out of these, my favourite now is the Haute, and my second favourite is the bumGenius Pocket. I love pockets as you can tell...
the reason I like the Haute best is that another bubhubber pointed out that bumGenius can sometimes wick moisture through the stretchy lycra tabs, and this has happened to me several times, whereas Hautes don't have this problem as they don't have the tabs like the bg does. Also with Hautes you get the 2 inserts with the nappy, so can use just one during the day for a trimmer fit, or both for even better absorbency. Also the Haute has much stronger velcro than the bg, and you can also choose to get them in snaps if you prefer. However in saying that, I think the bg is brilliant also and is a very trim fit while still being very absorbant, and the OSFA aspect of both the Hautes and bg appeals to me as I didn't like the thought of having to keep buying bigger sizes as my bub grows. Hope this helps, as my viewpoint is a bit limited as I haven't tried that much yet but I can say I really do like bg and I like Hautes even more!!!

i love my bg pockets. ds is 9 ish months and 10ish kg. he is on the medium setting. wont need to go up to the large setting for a while though. i have a wee machine, and havent had problems with the tabs wicking (yet). they are great with pooplosions too.

i agree with everything mumofkieran said ^, i have just ordered another lot of 6 BG OSFA/M nappies as im due have a bubs in a couple of weeks, Ive been using them on DD who is 19 months and can be a big wetter at times as she drinks so much water. i love them but also love my Haute nappies also. I usually do BG through the day and Haute at night because it has the two microfibre inserts.

I have stopped using my BG pocket on DD. IT seemed to fit her OK, but the velcro kept coming undone all the time while she was walking about. A lot of nappies seem to be getting to short in the rise for her ATM, she is in the weight range, but she must have a long body as the velcro ones just come undone.

I LOVE my BG's!! I love my Hautes too! But I find the BG's a bit slimmer between the legs, which is good for my little action heros.

But I LOVE the way the Haute comes with 2 inserts.

I haven't had any problems with either nappy leaking. I have had wicking in my GK though.... but I think it could be the PUL going :thumbsdown: ( I suppose I'll have to buy a new one to see if there's a difference :D )

I love my BBB's to though. My boys are wearing them with no problems and they are almost 2 and a half. (they've both got them on tonight actually)

But I mich prefer pockets during the day. Very easy!!

I have one and I think they are OK, I wouldn't buy a heap, mostly because my crawler is on his tummy and the snaps to change the size snag or the floor or push into him. The velcro is also a little bit to small i think to get a good grip, I do use mine though but I don;t think they are the best.
