Hi Everyone!!

I am just curious to know whether anyone has experienced a brownish discharge towards the end of their pregnancy and whether it is a sign of premature labour??? I have never had a baby before but, the hospital told me this morning that it is a show... Well, is it?? I've had cramps, back pain and tightenings around my belly but, they aren't unbearable... I can handle them.... The brownish discharge has disapeared for the moment but, the cramps, back pain and tightenings are coming still irregular??

If you could help me with any information that would be so much appreciated....:yelclap:

Thankyou!!

OMG how exciting! I def think it's your plug and you're in pre labour! You're not in premature labour, in 2 days you'll be 37 weeks and anywhere from 37 to 40+ weeks is considered full term. All bubs are different and it isn't always the case that your bub will come spot bang on your EDD, thats exactly what it is an "estimate"!

Seems like it'll be a few days before the real thing gets going, I guess make sure your bags are packed, etc.

Keep us updated, wooooooooohooooo looks like another Due in July baby is on it's way!:D

 Thanks for your reply ...... I am really excited too but, it is really annoying not knowing what is happening??? I am not really scared but, if it comes on strong i still have over an hours drive to get to the hospital..... That is the most scary part..... I will definately keep you guys updated anyways...

If it doesn't settle within a few hours, maybe call the hospy you're booked into and see what they say? Or maybe call them now? Plus if you do go into full on labour, your nearest hospy will HAVE to take you, legally they have no choice!

Try and get a good night's rest!:hugs:

how exciting.....i would say your going into labour to....i understand how confusing it can be....my waters never broke so i didn't know i was in labour until the pain was to much.....my hospital was only 5 minutes away........

Don't wait to long to do the hour drive....u might find it uncomfy to sit or lay....

good luck.....girl

Thanks chloebrae,

I wish it would hurry up though...
The cramps are still there but, no sign at the moment of the discharge.... So, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing???:smiliedance:
