Step By Step For Beginners
Some of these tasks require you to be logged into your account. If you don't know how, see Create a business account or Log in to your business account
Choose the right product for you
Are you testing the waters in the online advertising world? Then you'll want a FREE listing.
Are you ready to get the maximum exposure, putting your business ahead of the rest? Then you'll want a Enhanced listing.
Create a business account
- Go to http://www.bubhub.com.au/directory/members/user_account_add.php
- Complete the 'Business Account Registration' on that page by filling out the details and pressing 'Submit'.
- Confirm your business account -
A confirmation email from The Bub Hub will be sent to the email address you entered when creating a business account in the previous step. In the email is your username and a confirmation link. Click this to confirm your business account creation.
- Save your details -
Print the confirmation email and store it in a safe place. Ensure you record your username and password.
Create a free listing
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Get a FREE listing' link.
- Fill out the listing details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Free listings can take up to 2 weeks to process (as long as they meet the criteria).
Create an enhanced listing
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Get an Enhanced Listing' link.
- There are two Enhanced listing options, each with a different payment period and pricing. Select the Enhanced listing option that is most appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.

- Fill out the Enhanced listing details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon
. (It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Your Enhanced listing will be made live ASAP after payment is received.
Create a new stuff ad
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Create New Listing / Advertisement' on the left.
- There are two new stuff [showcase] ad options, each with different payment periods and pricing. Select the new stuff [showcase] ad option that is appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.
- Fill out the new stuff [showcase] ad details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon.
(It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Your new stuff [showcase] ad will be made live after payment is received.
Create a sales, discounts & vouchers ad
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Create New Listing / Advertisement' on the left.
- There are two sales, discounts & vouchers ad options, each with different payment periods and pricing. Select the sales, discounts & vouchers ad option that is appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.
- Fill out the sales, discounts & vouchers ad details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon.
(It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Your sales, discounts & vouchers ad will be made live after payment is received.
Create a newsletter email ad
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Create New Listing / Advertisement' on the left.
- There are multiple newsletter email ad options for different months. Select the newsletter email ad option that is most appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.
- Fill out the newsletter email ad details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon.
(It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Your newsletter email ad will be placed in the newsletter layout after payment is received.
Create a targeted email
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Create New Listing / Advertisement' on the left.
- There are multiple targeted email options. Select the targeted email option that is appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.
- Fill out the targeted email details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon.
(It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Organise your assets (text and images etc) and deliver them to us. See this document for details on asset requirements.
- We'll send you a proof of the email, for you to confirm.
- We send the email on the designated date.
Create a national package
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'Create New Listing / Advertisement' on the left.
- There are multiple national package ad options, each with a different payment period and pricing. Select the national package ad option that is most appropriate for you and press the 'Submit' button.
- Fill out the national package ad details and press the 'Submit' button.
- Select your payment method and press the 'Submit' button.
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon.
(It's a good idea to print the invoice for your records.)
- Pay the invoice.
- Your national package ad will be made live ASAP after payment is received.
Create a custom / tailored package
- Figure out what you would like to achieve from The Bub Hub. We have great advertising options that span a range of time frames and affordability. Some options include -
- Enhanced Listings - great for a permanent presence on our site
- Short term options such as Feature Space, New Stuff or Sales, Discounts and Samples Listings which will get in front of targeted viewers
- Email options such as your own Targeting Emails, graphical ads on our monthly newsletter, or sponsorship of the 40 week pregnancy emails

Upgrade a free listing to an enhanced listing
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'View Upgradable Listings' link on the left.
- Choose the listing you want to upgrade by clicking the 'Upgrade' icon on the right of that listing

- If you get a message saying 'An order with due invoices may not be changed. All due invoices must be paid first' you need to pay your outstanding invoices before you can upgrade.

- Select the Enhanced Listing payment option from the upgrade list, then press 'Submit.'
- Select the payment method you would like to use, then press 'Submit.'
- Review the payment instructions. (Similar instructions are also on your invoice.)
- Click the 'View Invoices' link on the left.
- Find the appropriate invoice, and in the 'Manage' column, click the corresponding 'Print' icon

- Pay the invoice.
- After we receive your payment, we will upgrade your listing.
- Once upgraded, your ad will now have more features, such as a long description, listing description, images etc.

Pay an invoice
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click the 'View Invoices' link
- View the invoice you want to pay by pressing the 'Print' icon on the right

- This will open a printable invoice with all payment information in it. Please pay using these details.
Edit a listing / ad
- Once you're logged in to your business account, and click 'View Listings / Ads' on the left.
- Edit your listing / ad from the list by clicking the 'Edit' icon

- Fill out the details and save your changes by pressing the 'Submit' button.
Add Images
- If you have an Enhanced Listing, you can upload 5 images to your image gallery. These can only be in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.
- Once you're logged in to your business account, click 'View Listings / Advertisements' on the left.
- Find the Enhanced Listing you want to add images to.
Click the 'Images' icon

- Click the 'Add Image' link.
- Fill out the details and press the 'Submit' button.
Your image is uploaded. Continue this process for all your images.
- You can edit or delete images.
On the right of each image is an edit icon and a delete icon to do this.
