Adding/Updating Your Profile

Step 1. Go the www.bubhub.com.au home page

Step 2. On the yellow navigatory bar across the screen, there is an orange tab that says 'user login'. Click on it.

Step 3. On that page, you will need to use the yellow login box option (that says 'Business Users - advertisers and free listees login') to enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD. The USERNAME and PASSWORD are sent in the confirmation email when you set up a user account so keep that email in a safe place.
Add that information and hit SUBMIT.

If you have forgotten your password, or have not received it, simply follow the prompts and click on PASSWORD REMINDER. From here you will be asked to enter your email. The system will only recognise the email that we have for you (this is the email that you receive our monthly eNewsletters at). If you have changed your email, you will need to let us know to update our records.

You will be automatically sent a password to your email (you can change the password if you wish - details of how are further below).

Step 4. Once in the system, you will see the below box on the left - the Menu.

To view your listing(s)

To see a list of your listing(s) in order to edit, click on View Listings. This will display your listings.

To edit a listing

In the 'Manage' column of the listing results page, click the 'edit' icon, which looks like edit icon.

This opens up the page that has a profile's details on it. Here, you can add/update your text (3 Stars = 2,000 characters, 2 Stars = 1,000 characters, 1 Star = 500 characters), a special offer (optional for 2 Star and 3 Star Listings), postal address, etc. If you have more than one store, you will need to include this information in your Profile Description text. To save all the information you have added, you must hit SUBMIT at the base of the screen.

NB: It is very important that when adding in your profile text, you DO NOT cut and paste the text without first having checked the character count does not exceed your limit. This is best done in notepad as this ensures all code and hidden symbold are stripped out and won't effect your upload. Adding in text that is over the limit allowed will 'hang' your profile content and this will need to be manually cleared by our office admin before you can proceed.

To View A Profile

In the 'Manage' column of the listing results page, click the 'view' icon, which looks like edit icon.

To Add Your Logo (2 Star and 3 Star Listings)

You need to have followed all the above steps to reach your profile page. At the base of the screen, you will be able to add your logo. This image needs to be saved on your computer. To add it, you simply click on BROWSE, locate the logo file and double click on the file name.

The logo needs to be a maximum of 150 x 150 pixels in size. If your logo is larger, the system will resize it which may cause some distortion. We suggest that you resize your logo to be a maximum of 150 pixels in one dimension and either 150 pixels or less in the other dimension BEFORE uploading it to the system.

Remember to hit SUBMIT at the base of the screen to save.

To Add Images (2 Star and 3 Star Listings)

In the 'Manage' column of the listing results page, click the 'images' icon, which looks like edit icon. This will take you to the Images Management page.

To add an image, click Add Image. Fill out the image details, then press SUBMIT.

Repeat this process up to 5 times (3 Star Listings = 5 images allowed, 2 Star Listings = 2 images allowed).

If you would like to have a coloured border or text on your images, you will need to have done all this at your end before you load them to your profile.

The maximum size for images is 200 pixels x 200 pixels. If your image is larger, the system will resize it which may cause some distortion. We suggest that you resize your images to be a maximum of 200 pixels in one dimension and either 200 pixels or less in the other dimension BEFORE uploading it to the system.

Changing Your Contact Information and Changing Your Password

If you have moved or changed your contact information in any way, you need to update your profile, or tell us directly by email or phone.

Click on View/Edit Account. This will take you to a page where you can edit your user details such as name, phone number, password, address etc.

Adding An Additional Listing

If you have opened a new store or now have an online arm to your business, you are able to enter the information for an additional listing. Listings won't be live immediately as we verify the data first. To do this, in the menu, click on Add Listing(s) and Select Advertising Options. Follow the steps to create your listing.

Getting Your Ad Live (3 Star Listings)

Once we have received your payment, we will create your 3 star listing which allows you to populate your profile, as explained above. We will send you an email to advise that this has taken place. Ideally, this is also the best point to have your Page Ad go live. If we have the final artwork through from you, it will be made live on the page you have requested. If the ad is yet to be finalised, it is your responsibility to get the final ad through to us as soon as possible.

Understanding Orders

An order is the financial information pertaining to a listing. (Eg - the next due date, the price, etc). Each order has at least one listing associated with it. You can't edit this information.

Understanding Invoices

To view your invoices, on the Menu, click View Invoices.

If you have a 2 star or 3 star listing, an invoice will be generated for you 30 days earlier than your listing's associated order's next due date. In other words, 30 days before your listing expires, an invoice will be generated for you. When you pay the amount due and we will move your next due date forward.

At the end of your session, remember to hit SUBMIT and then click on LOGOUT in the Menu box at the left-hand side of the screen.
